What I Miss Most!

The Theatre

I miss...
writing, directing, acting.
I miss...
the lights, the applause, the laughter.

AHHH! But mainly the applause, right? There is nothing like a spotlight to blot out the rest of the world and take you to another place...couple that with applause and it's heaven! I'll tell you what, when you get to Zapp I'll give you a standing O and you can give me one..how's that for a fair trade?

I don't think there's anything in my life I'm missing, other than a little freedom to explore as I choose.

I think what I miss the most are those carefree days you had when you were a kid. I watch Riley being entertained by the smallest stuff in life, and I think, why is it that kids are so wise at such a young age? They find pleasure in picking up leaves and studying them, or running along the beach chasing waves. I guess that says maybe as adults we need to make an effort to "simplify" our lives more and appreciate what natures puts into the making of a leaf, or how the tide always comes in and goes right back out with no exceptions!
