Won't You Join Me?

My spiritual leader,
Joel Osteen,
taught me a valuable lesson today.
He said that when people make you mad...
when people don't treat you right...
when you are feeling down...
SMILE!
So I am smiling...alot!
Won't you join me?

But I still want...
THIS CLOWN OUT OF OFFICE!

Oh, yeah...

A Better Coping Skill...

No, the Renaissance Chick
is not squirrelly!

I think some people
took me seriously
with my "coping skills" post.
Not to worry...
it's not all true!
Well, maybe the the part about
Cymbalta was true...
but the cup 'o bourbon part...
not true...
very often...
once in a blue moon...
only as needed!
Thought you might want to
know how I truly cope
with life...

Don't know why you people are laughing...
it's true!
Somehow, some of you have the idea
that I am sarcastic...
and have a wicked sense of humor.
Well, that's true too...
but I am serious about
Joel Osteen too!
Another truth...
I am not an organized religion person...
I tired of the mix of politics and religion.
Maybe that is why I like Joel Osteen...
he refrains from such nonsense.
His positive messages of
faith, perseverance and a bright future
are just what I need to get through the week!

Never watched him?
Maybe you should give him a try...
with an open mind.

Have you ever noticed that
his biggest critics are other
"religious" leaders?
My, my, that says something,
doesn't it?
Yes, his church is HUGE!
It seats over 14,000...
but I have never felt in a more
intimate church setting
as when I worship there!

It was the former home of the Houston Rockets!

With five services per weekend...

Over 43,000 attend each week!

And the congregation is totally diverse!

Actions speak louder than words!

Need some additional coping skills?

Joel Osteen + your television + next Sunday= peace
